The vegan wintermelon dish is SO DELICIOUS. Hope they keep this one on the permanent menu. It basically tastes like fried fat It's sweet and savory (black bean sauce), soft but with a nice chew to it (like a soft pear), and mildly crunchy in a soft way on the outside (best fresh but holds up leftover, and also soaks in more flavor leftover). Just the slightest amount of heat, a spice weenie will hardly notice. The vegan mushroom dish deserves an honorable mention and is very similar in flavor (not really sweet) but the wintermelon stole the show and I would come back just for that. We also tried their shrimp dumpling soup (it also has pork in it) but I wasn't a fan, tasted off to me (we didn't get sick, and my partner liked it, though maybe not enough to get again).

I liked everything about this place, the Mongolian Beef and sweet and sour pork were great, well cooked. We were surprised the bill for 2 was only $39, so reasonably priced in this day and age. We sat at an end booth that was comfortable, the waitresses were nice, came by often to check on us. Definitely 5 stars

Came here for the first time and I loved it! I have not laughed so hard in a long time and it's all due to the hospitality of the owner and his sister! Thank you Winnie and Danny for the laughs!!!! Wanna learn more about Hong Kong, come see Winnie and enjoy some good Chinese food. They have two menu; a Chinese menu and a regular menu. The difference is that some of the stuff on the Chinese menu, most people are not familiar with. The food was great and the service was even better! The owners go around and socialize with everyone; it really gives you that wholesome feel at home belonging!

Went here after reading latest reviews. We ate in as restaurant has very nice seating and atmosphere. Three of us had the sezchuan dinner. Came with hot n sour soup, cream filled puffs, egg rolls, pork fried rice, sezchuan prawns (very good), Mongolian beef and Kung Pao chicken. It was a very good and huge portion serving. My wife had beef with asparagus spicy with a brown sauce. It was one of the best I have ever tasted. Service was fantastic and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for fresh great Chinese food.

The "New" in New China is outstanding... The new owners have maintained the high quality tasty food that's always been a staple at New China, and have added their own flare. The service is amazing & the atmosphere is very comfortable. The chef remains, making the best Wor Wonton soup this side of Hong Kong. Seriously, their Wor Wonton is a MUST order. Provecho!!!
